The residence “les Belles Terres“
The apartment is located in the residence “Les Belles Terres”, situated on the western slope of the city of Nice, in the district Fabron/ La Lanterne. The residence is one of the most upscale and luxurious residential complexes in Nice and consists of four building sections and approximately 400 residential units. It is not a pure vacation resort – local residents of Nice live here, as well as foreign citizens who spend their summer vacations here.
The residence is guarded around the clock and accessible only to residents. It consists of a very large Mediterranean landscaped garden and has a swimming pool with clubhouse, a tennis court, a fitness room, a children’s playground, two boules lanes and an underground garage with individually designated parking spaces. A barbershop is also located on the premises. From Monday to Saturday, the reception is available to help and advise all residents and visitors.

Our 3-room apartment has a size of about 75 m² and is located on the 2nd floor in the residence “Les Belles Terres” on the western hills of Nice. It consists of a living / dining room, two bedrooms with two beds each, a fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom with toilet and another shower room with toilet. Furthermore, the apartment has a balcony of about 25 m², which is accessible from all rooms.
The apartment is a non-smoking apartment, smoking is not allowed even on the balcony. Furthermore, pets are not allowed to be kept in the apartment.

In the stylishly furnished living/dining room is the dining area with seating for up to six people, in the living area there is seating for 7 – 8 people. In addition, there is a small secretary, which can be used as a work corner (for all those who (have to?) have their work equipment with them even on vacation and all others who can’t resist looking into a PC/laptop even on vacation).
In the living area there is a flat screen TV and a stereo system with radio, CD, DVD and MP3 player.
The flooring in the entrance area of the apartment and in the living/dining room is marble, the lighting of the room is indirect with several floor lamps and ceiling floodlights.

The kitchen is fully equipped with 4-burner ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. In addition, there are other baking and cooking utensils (e.g. mixer, blender), so that there are no limits for all visitors who want to live out their cooking and baking skills on vacation. In addition, a separate cabinet contains vacuum cleaners and other cleaning utensils, as well as a steam iron and ironing board. In the kitchen is also a washing machine, which allows washing bathing suits or other laundry during longer stays.

The apartment has two separate bedrooms with two beds each. In total, there are thus sleeping facilities for four adults. In the large bedroom, the two beds are pushed together to form a large double bed, but can be separated if necessary. The accommodation of more than four adults , e.g. babies in their own travel beds is conceivable after consultation and possible in principle.
In each bedroom are bedside tables with bedside lamps with touch control. The large closets provide space for hanging clothes (hangers are provided) and shelves for clothing and other items.
The flooring in the interior hallway to the sleeping area and in the bedrooms is made of carpet, the lighting of the rooms is both direct and indirect.

The apartment has two full bathrooms.
In the large bathroom, in addition to a sink with a large vanity unit, there is a toilet, a bidet and a bathtub equipped with a glass partition for shower purposes.
In the small bathroom, next to the sink and toilet, there is a shower with glass partition.

The balcony is about 25 m² and accessible from all rooms. From here you can enjoy the fantastic and breathtaking view of Nice and the bay (Baie des Anges – “Bay of Angels”).
In summer, the balcony is the place to be, as it allows you to spend time “outdoors” at any time of day. The electrically operated awnings allow the sunlight to be controlled in the morning hours, as needed. In the afternoon and evening, almost all the residents spend their time here, at meals or just having a nice get-together.
The rental price of the apartment includes a landline telephone from which you can make free calls to landlines in France and other countries of the European Union and worldwide (110 countries in total). However, calls to mobile networks and special numbers are excluded from this.
In addition, the apartment has unlimited broadband Internet and a secured Wi-Fi network (password will be provided upon rental). After registration, you can surf freely and without limits with your laptop, tablet or smartphone.
A flat-screen TV is available, as well as a set-top box that allows you to receive over 160 TV channels for free, mostly in French. Program packages in other languages can be booked additionally for a fee by arrangement. A stereo system with radio as well as CD, DVD and MP3 player completes the media offer.

The apartment comes with a lockable parking box in the residence’s underground garage, which is a definite plus in view of the sometimes narrow streets on a slope and the existing parking shortage on site. You don’t have to worry about on-site parking, and you don’t have to walk long distances to your vehicle on the street.
Access to the underground garage is by remote control, and to the parking box by a separate key (both are handed out at the time of rental). The parking box is suitable for vehicles up to normal mid-size cars (e.g. BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class), but beyond that the entry, exit and entry can be tight.
CAR
The best way to reach the apartment is by car. By car you also have the greatest freedom to explore Nice and the surrounding area. And you don’t have to worry about parking at the apartment, because you have your own parking space. In this respect, we warmly recommend you to go on your vacation by car and drive to the apartment. However, keep in mind that very large cars are not very practical in the narrow streets and parking lots in Nice and the serpentine roads in the hinterland. Furthermore, you have to pay tolls on the highways in France.
Airplane
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is the third largest airport in France in terms of passenger traffic and is located about 6 km west of the Les Belles Terres residence. Numerous connections from Europe allow you to fly to Nice and from the airport the best solution would be to travel to the apartment by cab. Railroad
The main train station of Nice is located about 7 km away to the east of the apartment, in the center of Nice. For more information about the train connections at www.sncf.com/de (in mehreren Sprachen, u.a. Deutsch) und zum Bahnhof unter www.gares-sncf.com/fr/gare/frnic/nice
From the train station you can also easily reach the apartment by cab.
Public transport
A dense network of buses makes it possible to get around Nice and the surrounding towns, as well as the communities on the slopes of the city. Bus No. 61 leaves just in front of the residence in the direction of the coast, from where you can meet other bus connections to the east and west. About 5 – 10 minutes walk away, you will find the small shopping center La Pignata with a bakery, a small supermarket, a magazine and tobacco store, a pharmacy and a restaurant. The bakery and supermarket are also open on Sundays, so you can stock up on the most necessary groceries there even on weekends. The restaurant is open all day – here you can experience the local life in Nice!
The well-known supermarket chains in France, e.g. Casino (https://www.supercasino.fr/), Carrefour (https://www.carrefour.fr/) can be found near the coast as well as in the large shopping centers on the main access roads of Nice.
Please keep in mind that this vacation rental and residence are located in a residential neighborhood on the western slopes of Nice. Pubs, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, as well as stores and shopping facilities in the sense of a “shopping experience” can be reached by heading towards the coast and the city center.

The pool area in the residential complex “Les Belles Terres” consists of a large swimming pool with a depth of about 0.7 to 3m, tastefully designed around a clubhouse.

The clubhouse
It is located in the middle of the pool area, but can be reached via a separate entrance. The clubhouse offers a daily changing menu for lunch and dinner, as well as the possibility of food delivery to the apartment.
Swimming pool
The pool area consists of a large swimming pool with a depth of about 0.7 to 3m, tastefully designed around a clubhouse. Next to it is a small swimming pool for small children. Parasols, sun loungers and seating can be used free of charge. The pool area is available only to residents and invited guests. During the summer months, a lifeguard is present to supervise the operation of the swimming pool and the observance of the rules of conduct in force.

Living, almost like at home
The apartment is pleasantly large, very clean and well maintained, has a nice large balcony with excellent views of Nice, the sea and the mountains. It is equipped with everything you need on vacation, if you ever want to feed yourself. The transaction went off without a hitch. The care provided by the landlord is very good. The residence is spacious and very well maintained. The only pity is that the use of the tennis court and the fitness area are not free.
