The balcony … brings the overview of Nice 5/5 *****
An apartment with sea view in one of the highest places in Nice is unique. The balcony has almost thirty square meters and plexiglass panels, the windows of all rooms face the balcony and are floor-to-ceiling.
So you can watch the sunrise from your bed and have a view of the Boulevard d’Anglais, which is about 3 km away. With the two bedrooms and the living room you have three rooms for 4 people, generous space for France.
What I found pleasant were the two fully equipped bathrooms and the kitchen, which is very well equipped (even with German coffee maker – with us there were also coffee filters and coffee from the predecessors – otherwise bring the same from home).
The condition of the apartment is neat and clean, so we immediately felt comfortable. Pool and restaurant we have not used, we were more out.
Highly recommended is the nearby small restaurant/breakfast cafe with attached bakery and confectioner, small supermarket (there are also home-cooked meals to take away) tobacco store and pharmacy.
We were happy to be there at any time of the day:
In the morning you get something to eat from the baker (-> fantastic selection) and eat this at the CaM au lait in the restaurant, at lunch and dinner there is a wide selection of dishes that are very tasty.
Since the pichet (1/2 -liter carafe) of Rose house wine is not expensive, we are also always nice and well-behaved in max 10 minutes from the apartment there and back.
We can highly recommend this apartment, including WLAN and phone calls to Germany and a garage box, which is scarce from Golf upwards. A car is needed for this apartment, however.
Above the rooftops
We rented the apartment as a family with two teenagers for ten days. The complex is gated, very well maintained, and located in a quiet area. However, too far from the promenade or downtown to get there on foot. The complex is not really a resort, and so we did not meet any other Germans there, but almost exclusively French. For us, this was rather pleasant.
Part of the resort is a small pool area in a park, which includes a small restaurant. Everything is very nice and appealingly designed.
The car could be parked in a – somewhat narrow – lockable garage.
The apartment itself is on the second floor in block C of the complex. It is very friendly and bright, with large windows in all rooms. Over the entire length of the apartment is a spacious balcony, from which a fantastic view of Nice opens up. Enjoy the sunrise over Nice, have breakfast in the morning sun, enjoy a coffee after returning from the beach or then watch the lights play in Nice after dinner – life happens on the balcony. Even from the bed you can enjoy the view of the illuminated Nice thanks to the plexiglass panes on the balcony parapet – just super.
About the apartment itself: the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We cooked often. We also appreciated the washing machine, you can wash the bath towels in between times.
The beds were ok, the bathrooms were nice. All appliances and installations worked, which is unfortunately not always a matter of course.
Thanks to WLAN our daughters were always connected with their friends, which influenced their satisfaction very positively ;-).
The television has well over 100 programs, but unfortunately only one in German. However, this was not really a problem for us.
The support by Mrs. Benisch worked well. Unfortunately, she had left us only one key for the apartment, which made the coordination between parents and children a bit difficult.
All in all, we can highly recommend the apartment!
Fantastic resort for family with children 5/5
We (a family of four) spent 2 weeks in les belles terres and were just thrilled. The apartment is spacious and flooded with light through the large windows. A wonderful terrace with a beautiful view and enough space to eat there. Everything we needed for daily use was available.
Particularly noteworthy is the large pool, surrounded by greenery and with a restaurant in the middle of the pool, where you can eat not only good, but also cheap.
From the first minute we felt “on vacation”.
The entire complex (residence, apartment, park, tennis court, pool) is very well maintained and clean and although there are many apartments there it was surprisingly quiet.
The residents and also the staff (lifeguard, reception, security guard, restaurant owner) are very friendly. The reception by the supervisor Mrs. Benisch was very warm and we got many tips for our vacation. All in all, we spent two wonderful weeks here and are happy to recommend this apartment.
